I'm Joshua, I build stuff.I love the outdoors, spending time with my family and reading. I've been a pastor for 4 years and a worship leader for 5. I love both of those things. This isn't a tinder profile but some people like to know a little bit more than just what I can do for them. On top of my love for code my wife and I were planting a church in Gillette WY called The Well Church then God called us to Baltimore when support for the church dried up. Enough about my personal life. So why am I so good at what I do?
I learned how to code when I was 13 years old and never looked back. After graduating from the University of Valley Forge in 2011 with a degree in Digital Media and Communication I started working professionally as a Web Developer. Because of my degree I also have dabbled in Design and Motion Graphics. I like to say I am a Jack of all Trades but a Master of None expect in Web Development, I come pretty close! :) The backend languages I am proficient in are PHP and Ruby. I use JavaScript daily and if I didn't know HTML & CSS I probably wouldn't have a job. I use Frameworks/CMS's like Laravel, CodeIgniter, WordPress, Drupal, Ruby on Rails, jQuery, React.js, React Native and SASS. I can also just build something custom and tie it to a database. Frameworks just help you get there faster. If you like BootStrap thats fine I have used it before.
